Jollibee Soon to Rise in Bangkok Thailand

With the advent of new highly economically developed cities in Thailand, Jollibee spotted a beautiful spot for its next venture. Bangkok, is one of the most lived cities in South East Asia and is one of the cheapest in terms of cost of living which would include food and shelter. Any one can come and live extravagantly without spending so much money.

A number of Filipinos are present in Bangkok and this is one of the factors being considered in putting up the first branch of Jollibee Foods Corporation in Bangkok.

Most Filipinos who are working in Bangkok longed for a Jollibee branch in the area just like Singapore, Hongkong and Vietnam.

Jollibee is known to be the most famous local food chain in the Philippines because of its one of a kind signature chicken joy and spaghetti. Jollibee started to go multinational as it started to put up branches in most of the SEA countries and in the Western countries too. Jollibee also acquired some of the famous food chains in the Philippines such as Greenwich, Chowking, Mang Inasal, Red Ribbon, McDonalds Philippines and Burger King Philippines.

With this, the next branch will rise be opened in Bangkok, the capital city of Thailand, home to about 5000 Overseas Filipino Workers.

Jollibee Thailand

Jollibee Foods Corporation is a Filipino owned fast food business which is very famous in the Philippines. Jollibee in Thailand is the most awaited moment for Jollibee Lovers.

When I came to Thailand in 2007 I heard that Jollibee will soon have a branch here. That made me excited because I just love Jollibee. It is already 2015 now but still my dream for a Jollibee Branch I can dine in is still nowhere.

News and forums are everywhere in the internet. I am glad Goldilocks had found their way out here and I am still hoping for Jollibee to try their market in Thailand. Filipinos in Thailand are longing for Filipino foods. We just missed home so we are trying to feel at home through the foods we can eat. There is Mabuhay Restaurant in Pratunam. Lots of Filipinos from far and near would come in order to taste Lasang Pinoy once in a while.

Recently, we have just tried the Halo-halo Thailand. We were so happy and excited to travel around 13 KM just to eat halo-halo in Samutprakan Area. The price was reasonable and yeah it really tasted like home. Glad it filled up our homesickness.

But still we are longing for Jollibee. What most of us do is that, when a friend from PI is coming to Bangkok, or a friend from Bangkok goes back to PI for a vacation, we would ask favors from them to bring us Jabe for Pasalubong. And those simply filled us happiness. ;)

Jollibee has already branches in US, Kuwait, Saudi, Qatar, HK, SG, Brunie and Vietnam, how come there's none in Thailand? We're so jealous with our neighboring countries.

The latest news I heard is that by 2016 there will be a Jollibee branch in Bangkok. Wow, that's gonna be soon.
